This page explains how to delete your Alaska Bait Express account and the personal data associated with it. Account deletion is available directly in the app and, if you can no longer access the app, by written request. Alaska Bait Express is operated by Alaska Boat And Fishing Academy LLC (DBA Alaska Bait Express), Soldotna, Alaska.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the Alaska Bait Express app and sign in.
- Tap the Account tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation notice and tap Delete to confirm.
- Your account and personal data are removed immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email us from the email address on your account so we can verify your identity:

Please include in the message:
- The full name on your account
- The email address and phone number used to register
- A statement that you want your account and personal data deleted
We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, and email you to confirm when it is done. We may ask for additional information solely to confirm you are the account owner before deleting anything.
What is deleted and what is kept
When your account is deleted we permanently remove the data that identifies you. We retain a de-identified record of completed transactions only as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes — these records can no longer be linked back to you.

| VIP / marketing contact entry (if any) | Permanently deleted. You are removed from VIP and broadcast lists. |
| Past / completed order records | Anonymized and retained. Your name, email, phone, delivery address, and delivery notes are stripped from each order; the customer is replaced with “Deleted Customer.” The remaining transaction record is kept for legal and financial recordkeeping and is no longer associated with you. |
| Text-message (SMS) delivery logs | Retained as billing/audit reconciliation records with restricted internal access only. These are not linked to your deleted profile. |
Retention period
Personal data is deleted immediately on an in-app request, or within 30 days of a verified email request. Anonymized transaction records and SMS reconciliation logs are retained for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, and recordkeeping laws, after which they are deleted on our normal records-retention schedule. Because these records are de-identified, they are not personal data that can be tied to you.
Is deletion reversible?
No. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you wish to use Alaska Bait Express again later, you will need to create a new account.
